The Lobos are one of the favored lower-seeded teams to pull off a first-round upset and make a run in this year’s NCAA Tournament. Their last win in the big dance came in 2012.

The total for this game is set at 151.5, but I actually think that it will go Under the total. We’ve seen the first half of first-round games be low-scoring out of the gate, so I expect the two teams to struggle to find a groove early on.
The Tigers do have three players that average double-digit points per game on the year but they’ve been inconsistent all season. Joseph Girard III is the X-Factor on this team as he shoots 42.5% from beyond the arc.
I still like the Lobos to move on so pencil them in to move on to the second round.
