7 NBA Prospects Stock Rising As 2026 Draft Combine Gets Underway

The 2026 NBA Draft Combine has gotten underway, but six draft prospects have already seen their stock rise.

Which Prospects’ Stock Is Rising As 2026 NBA Draft Combine Gets Underway?

The NBA Draft Combine is the Association’s annual meat market where the top prospects in the upcoming draft class get measured, tested, analyzed and prodded. The week-long event, which takes place in Chicago, began Sunday and runs through May 17.

Before this week’s NBA combine, the NBA G League hosted its Elite Camp, featuring players not considered elite NBA prospects. However, each year, the top performers from the G League camp earn an invite from the league to participate in the NBA Combine.

Since 2019, 34 players who participated in the G League Elite Camp have gone on to play in the NBA. Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard, New York Knicks guard Jose Alvarado, Dallas Mavericks forward Caleb Martin, Brooklyn Nets guard Terance Mann, and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Max Strus are among notable players who have participated in the Elite Camp.

Aaron Nkrumah (Tennessee State), Rafael Castro (George Washington), Jacob Cofie (USC), Bryce Hopkins (St. John’s), and Trey Kaufman-Renn (Purdue) are the players who impressed the NBA’s scouting department at the G League Elite Camp enough to earn a trip to this week’s Draft Combine. Here is a look at each of the five players, plus Kentucky freshman Malachi Moreno and Iowa sharpshooter Bennett Stirtz.
