Utah Jazz
Like Washington, the Utah Jazz made moves at February’s trade deadline and expects to contend this upcoming season. The Jazz’s main priority will likely be to re-sign Walker Kessler or move him in a sign-and-trade. However, the Jazz could also use a veteran guard to either play alongside or back up Keyonte George. The Jazz project to have $22 million in cap space this summer.
Proposed Trade
Jazz get:
Jrue Holiday
Trail Blazers get:
Walker Kessler (sign and trade)
Svi Mykhailuk or Brice Sensabaugh
-or-
Mykhailuk
Sensabaugh
One of Utah’s two 2027 first round picks (via MIN or LAL)
Either deal could work out for both teams. It depends on how interested the Jazz are in keeping Kessler and how much he intrigues the Blazers. Additionally, the Jazz could absorb Holiday’s contract with their cap space if that is the direction the teams decide to go.
