Games 1 and 2

The WNBA Finals started with a bang in Game 1. The Lynx were behind for most of the game following a 32-19 first quarter but ended up roaring back in the fourth to send the game to overtime. Overtime was a nailbiter, and the Lynx barely grabbed the win, 95-93. Courtney Williams stood out in Game 1 with 23 points, five assists, and five rebounds. The Lynx covered the +6 spread, and the game total went over the projection of 160.5.

The Liberty recovered in Game 2. New York controlled most of the game, like Game 1, but this time, they held onto their lead and won the game 80-66. Although All-WNBA First Team Breanna Stewart was the leading scorer for the Liberty with 21 points, Betnijah Laney-Hamilton was the big surprise with 20 points of her own. The Liberty covered the -7 spread, and the game went under.

WNBA Finals Game 3 Thriller

In Game 3, the Liberty rallied from a 15-point deficit to defeat the Lynx 80-77. The Liberty now hold a 2-1 series advantage and are one win away from their first-ever championship.

Stewart led the Liberty with 30 points and 11 rebounds, while 2024 All-WNBA Second Team Sabrina Ionescu added 13 points, six assists, and five rebounds. The game-winning shot came from Ionescu, who drilled a three-pointer from deep with seconds left on the clock.

The Lynx fought back from an early deficit, led by All-WNBA First Team Napheesa Collier‘s 22 points and nine rebounds. Kayla McBride was the next-highest scorer on the Lynx with 19 points. Despite their efforts, Minnesota was unable to hold off the Liberty’s late-game surge and now have their backs against the wall. The game was a push as the Liberty were -3 favorites, and the total went under the projection of 161. The series now shifts back to Minnesota for Game 4 on Friday night.

WNBA Finals Game 4 Odds

The WNBA Finals Game 4 odds are already released, and for the fourth straight game, the Liberty are favored. The spread is Liberty -3 on the road. They are -164 to win straight up, and the Lynx are +128 to tie the series up 2-2. The total for the game is set at 159.5.

It is difficult to make a WNBA Finals Game 4 prediction. Games 1 and 3 were so close that they could have gone either way. The Liberty can taste their first WNBA Championship, but the Lynx will do everything they can to extend the series to a Game 5.
