Mark Few has started his 2025 recruiting class with a bang as a consensus top-50 wing. Davis Fogle committed to Gonzaga, as expected late last night.
Fogle chose Gonzaga over his two other finalists, Kansas and Creighton, among others. The Anacortes (Wash.) native, who never visited KU or Creighton, visited Spokane and Gonzaga’s campus during Hoopfest this past weekend, according to Spokesman-Review Jim Meehan. He held 14 scholarship offers overall.
“I also want to thank all the coaches who have taken time to recruit me,” Fogle said in an Instagram post, shortly after thanking his parents, teammates, coaches and his trainer. “This has been one of the most amazing times of my life and a dream come true. With that being said, I will be committing to Gonzaga University.”
Elite Scoring Top-50 2025 Wing Chooses Elite Home State Program Over Kansas, Among Others
Fogle is a 6-5 wing who is very versatile and seen as a three-level scorer at the next level. The four-star shooting guard, the consensus No. 43 rated prospect in 2025, saw his stock skyrocket this past season following an outstanding junior campaign and strong spring season. Among the primary recruiting services, Fogle is rated as high as the No. 33 recruit by 247 Sports and is No. 38 on ESPN’s list. Meanwhile, Rivals has him at No. 60 in their rankings, and On3 has him at No. 81.
Fogle showed immersed improvement this past season, leading Anacortes to the State 2A quarterfinals. After averaging 24.6 points a game in 2022-23, Fogle produced 31.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks, hitting 50% of his field-goal attempts this past campaign.

Davis Fogle has a projectable frame with good length and sneaky athleticism. He is fluid. The interesting piece to Fogle’s game is the scoring. Listed around 6-6, the wing is able to play within three dribbles and get to spots on the mid range going left or right. He will need to continue getting stronger. And with that will need to continue working on his balance points. His shooting from deep, especially off movement, can be streaky because of his balance. Fogle has a solid wing handle within 2-3 dribbles and he can get his team into sets in the open floor. Would like to see him add some more creative handle in the half court, add some self-creation to the mix. His athleticism and frame make things interesting as he continues to add weight. There are flashes of a scorer on there, this flashes need to be sharpened to become more consistent.
Why Fogle Chose Gonzaga?
While Fogle included Creighton and Kansas as finalist, it was really Gonzaga all the way, as the Bulldogs made him a priority.
Fogle accompanied Anacortes High to Gonzaga’s team camps in the past, and GU assistant coach Stephen Gentry visited Fogle three times in Anacortes, according to Meehan.
“They’re an in-state school. And they’re just really, really consistent, Fogle told Joe Tipton of On3. “They’ve gotten to the NCAA Tournament every year, and, I think, they’ve been to like nine straight Sweet Sixteens. Their player development is top-notch and that is really sticking out about them. They’ve come to see me at home like three times. They’ve come to see my workout at my high school twice. I mean, we have definitely grown a strong relationship. They like my scoring and my offensive skill set. They think I can fit in really well with their play style.”
Plus, Fogle is expected to at least compete for a major role with the Bulldogs in 2025.
Fogle Should Have A Big Role In 2025
Gonzaga has seven seniors on its 2024-25 roster. However, the cupboard won’t be completely bare next year. Wings Khalif Battle, Michael Ayayi, and Steele Venters are among the players who will have exhausted their eligibility.
Few made a point with its final three 2024 additions—point guard Braeden Smith, small forward Emmanuel Innocenti, and 7-footer Ismaila Diagne—to sign players capable of contributing this year but likely to assume bigger roles the following season. Smith, who transferred from Colgate, is slated to redshirt this upcoming season.
Innocenti played his freshman season at Tarleton State, and Diagne is an incoming freshman.
Fogle is the first piece of what figures to be a sizable 2025 recruiting class.
Who Else Is Gonzaga Looking At For Their 2025 High School Recruiting Class
Few and his staff have been busy scouring the gyms and the AAU circuit this spring/summer. Gonzaga has offered scholarships to five other members of the 2025 class. Meehan said they are exceptionally high on Isiah Harwell, Nikolas Khamenia, and Jalen Haralson.
Isaiah Harwell
Harwell is a 6-5 guard who is the consensus No. 9 prospect in the class of 2025 and is ranked in the top 15 in all the major recruiting services rankings. He is ranked fifth in the class by On3, eighth by rivals, 11th by 247Sports, and 13th by ESPN.
Harwell is down to four schools and has set an announcement date of Sept. 12. Cal, Gonzaga, Texas, and Houston are still in contention.
Nikolas Khamenia
Khamenia is a consensus four-star and top-30 recruit in the class of 2025. The 6-7 wing holds over 20 scholarship offers and has said that he wants to decide by September but is unsure at this point.
Jalen Haralson
Haralson is also a consensus top-10 recruit. The 6-6 wing is ranked between No. 7-14 by each significant recruiting service. He is ranked No. 7 by Rivals and No. 9 by ESPN, while On3 and 247Sports have him at No. 14.
“I would say I’m a versatile player that plays best at the guard position,” Haralson told Stock Risers. “I use my IQ and my size to gain an advantage on my opponent and someone that just can go make winning plays.”
Haralson has narrowed his list to nine: Duke, Auburn, Notre Dame, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Missouri, Purdue, Indiana, and Kansas. He has visited Auburn and has set fall visits to Notre Dame, Michigan State, and Indiana. He told Joe Tipton of ON3 that he plans to visit Gonzaga for their Midnight Madness event, Craziness in the Kennel.
