For April 17, 2024, we will look at the game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat from Philadelphia. This is a play-in tournament game between the 7th and 8th seed. A win here would guarantee them the playoff spot. A loss here, would give them another chance against the loser between the Bulls and Hawks. Expect a high-intensity game.
The Philadelphia 76ers won 8 straight games and still did not make it directly into the playoffs. The main reason for this is that the former MVP, Joel Embiid, had a bad injury. Joel Embiid is now back, and they look like contenders yet again. We believe that they would have been the top 3 seed if Embiid did not get hurt. They are currently one of the hottest teams in the league, and with Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid on the court, there is not much you can do about it.
The Miami Heat have won three out of the last five games. Jimmy Butler had a weird season, and we are curious if he will step up in the playoffs. The Heat were just one game below the Magic, Pacers and the 76ers. Their main reason for their bad games were the injuries. Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro did not play many games this season.
