It’s the best time of the year to be a college basketball fan. The opening round of March Madness is getting underway, and with what feels like thousands of games to choose from, there’s no shortage of ways to get in on the action.
No matter how you plan to bet on The Big Dance, you can capitalize on sports betting promos by signing up this week. DraftKings Sportsbook, for example, is offering $150 in bonus bets to new users who wager $5 on any NCAA Tournament game.
To find out more about that offer and others, check out our list of the best sportsbook promos for March Madness 2024.
DraftKings March Madness Betting Promo
Tap DraftKings Sportsbook and register for an account to get $150 in bonus bets to put toward March Madness.
Pick any game and place a wager of $5 or more on any line. It doesn’t matter if you pick the moneyline, spread, total, or a prop. Win or lose, DraftKings will reward you with $150 in bonus bet tokens, issued as six credits worth $25 each.
These bet tokens can be used as a substitute for real cash and combined with any wager, including parlays. Any winnings you earn from wagering your bonus bets can be withdrawn or put back into your account to continue building your bankroll.
Your awarded bonus bets are only good for seven days, so keep on top of the NCAA Tournament and don’t let any of them go to waste.
BetMGM March Madness Betting Promo
You’ll receive a $1,500 first bet bonus when you sign up at BetMGM Sportsbook with the promo code LWOS ahead of the NCAA Tournament.
All you need to do is place a first-time bet on any game. If you lose, BetMGM will match your wager and return it to you as one or more bonus bets, up to a maximum of $1,500.
Bet any amount greater than $50 and BetMGM will pay your bonus in five equal tokens worth 20% of your initial stake. For example, if you bet $200 and lose, you would receive five bonus bets worth $40 each. Wager $50 or less, and if you lose, you’ll get a single bonus bet token of equal value.
These bonus bets do not have any cash value, but they can be used in place of real money on any bet. Any winnings you receive from using them will be yours to keep. You have seven days to use your bonus bets before they expire.
bet365 March Madness Betting Promo
Enter the promo code LWOSBONUS or tap bet365 Sportsbook and you’ll be able to choose between two excellent sign-up offers.
If you want the most value, you should choose the $1,000 First Bet Safety Net. If your first-time bet loses, bet365 will match your wager, up to $1,000 maximum, and credit your account with an equal value of bonus bets. This is a great way to ensure that you still get something even if you lose.
Alternatively, you can go for the Bet $5, Get $150 bonus, which will reward you with $150 in bonus credits when you wager $5 or more on any game. It doesn’t matter whether you win or lose your $5 bet — either way, you’ll receive a sum of $150 in bonus bets, which can be split up however you like and used in place of real cash.
You can’t go wrong with either option, but it’s important to keep in mind that any bonus bets you get will expire once they’ve been in your account for seven days.
FanDuel March Madness Betting Promo
Feeling confident in your pick? If so, consider signing up at FanDuel Sportsbook, which will pay your $5 bet with $200 in bonus bets if you win.
Unlike other betting promos, you need to win your first-time bet to receive your bonus bets at FanDuel. However, you’re more than welcome to pick a heavy favorite — say, UConn in its 1 vs. 16 matchup — with your first bet. Don’t make it hard on yourself by choosing a game that could be a toss-up.
Once you win your bet, FanDuel will reward you with $200 in bonus bets on top of the payout you’re due from your wager. As usual, you’ll have seven days to spend your bonus bets before they expire.
March Madness Round 1 Best Bet
Western Kentucky +14.5 (-112) vs Marquette
DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit
The Hilltoppers play at the No. 1 adjusted tempo in college basketball, per KenPom, so I’m confident in their ability to hang with the potentially short-handed Golden Eagles. Marquette standout Tyler Kolek is expected to play after sitting out since Feb. 28, but it’s fair to wonder how healthy he’ll be.
An upset isn’t out of the question, but I at least like Western Kentucky’s chances of keeping this one within the 14.5-point spread — even if only as a backdoor cover.
