It’s going to be a close one, but in the end, Auburn proves to be too much for the Bulldogs to be able to stay in this game. By plenty of metrics, the Auburn squad is one of the best teams in college basketball this season, and should have plenty of depth to win this matchup against Yale without too much of a sweat.
Danny Wolf is the Bulldogs’ best player, but Auburn’s relentless depth means they’ll be able to throw plenty of different looks at him in an attempt to slow him down, and that could prove to be Yale’s undoing. Yale could keep this one close throughout, but conventional knowledge of these two teams would suggest that Auburn will be able to stay plenty rested throughout the game and that will enable them to pull away late in this one, enough to cover the 13-point spread.
