The Dons, on the other hand, have lost three of their last five, with the only wins coming over lowly Pepperdine and Portland. San Francisco scored its best conference win of the season on Feb. 10, defeating Santa Clara 71-70.
I’m expecting a solid competition given the stakes, but we all know that we’re heading for yet another WCC Championship between Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s. Look for the Bulldogs to pull away in the second half and cover this 8.5-point spread.
