Best Favorable NBA Player Props for January 3, 2024

Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (0) brings the ball up court against the Indiana Pacers during the first half at Fiserv Forum.

It’s a new year with a fresh new slate of NBA action. There are 12 games tonight, and I have finally left the laboratory to provide you with three favorable NBA player props that are trending. We will be traveling to three cities during the course of our journey. Our first stop is in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Best Favorable NBA Player Props for January 3, 2024

Damian Lillard Over 26.5 Points (-120)

Damian Lillard has covered this line in five out of his last nine games. This game will be a bounce-back opportunity for Lillard, who shot 3-16 from the field in a loss to the Indiana Pacers on Monday. The Pacers play with the second-fastest pace in the NBA (103.5), which typically leads to high-scoring games and more scoring opportunities. The Milwaukee Bucks are also a fast-paced team, ranking fourth in the league (102.6). If Lillard is able to get comfortable early in the game and knock down a few shots, he could be well on his way to another 30-point game in his career. He will also help Milwaukee avenge its three losses to the Pacers this year.

The second stop on our road trip is Cleveland, Ohio.

Max Strus Over 3.5 Assists (-145)

Max Strus has covered this line in four out of his last six games and three out of his last four home games. He will help Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell with facilitating duties in the absence of starting point guard Darius Garland, who is out due to a jaw injury. The Washington Wizards are the worst team in the NBA at giving up assists to the small forward position per game. Six out of the last seven starting small forwards the Wizards have faced covered this line.

Our final pit stop will be in Phoenix, Arizona.

Bradley Beal Over 20.5 Points (-120)

Bradley Beal has recently returned to the Phoenix Suns’ lineup after a back injury and seems to have found some rhythm, eclipsing this line in his last two games. With Kevin Durant likely out and Devin Booker becoming a facilitator, Beal should find scoring opportunities curling off screens for open jump shots. Beal has covered this line in three straight games against the Los Angeles Clippers while averaging 28 points per contest. He’s also scored over 20 points in five of his last six games against the Clippers and eight out of his last 11 games against them.

Stay on the lookout for moving lines and changing odds on these NBA player props. Please always remember to bet responsibly. Until the next slate, good luck and goodwill researching.
