A lot of east coast fans have a much tougher time keeping up with West Coast teams like the Trail Blazers because they are usually playing too late. But that does not mean that their accounts are bad. Portland is consistently viewed as one of, if not the best, NBA social media teams. They make staying up late fun. Atlanta has a top-tier NBA social media team. They host live chats with players, like their “Hawk Hangouts” on Facebook Live which allows fans to ask their favorite players questions. Their social media posts spark conversation and debate among fans. Behind-the-scenes content is also a staple of the Hawks’ social media accounts, which is a really cool thing for fans to see.

Miami uses a meme after pretty much every win. It is great and especially connects with the younger part of the fanbase. How they do not run out of memes is a mystery to me. But they do it.
