The Denver Nuggets have agreed to sign unrestricted free agent power forward Paul Millsap to a contract worth $90 million over three years. The contract cannot officially be signed until the end of the NBA’s moratorium period on July 6th.
Shams Charania of The Vertical broke the news on Sunday night:

Paul Millsap Agrees to Three-Year Contract With Denver Nuggets
Millsap’s contract will take him through the end of the 2019-20 season. There is a team option for the final year of the contract, meaning that the Nuggets could decline the option, making Millsap a free agent again in July 2019.
Millsap averaged 18.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks per game last season for the Atlanta Hawks. Named an All-Star for the fourth year in a row last season, Millsap contributed greatly for Atlanta. Despite such good play, Millsap could have done plenty more. Down in rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals, Millsap’s scoring average was the only thing that he increased last season. The star forward failed to make a big impact in the playoffs, which has led to some labeling him a “regular season star.”
Looking forward, Millsap will provide great play in the frontcourt, capable of scoring and defending at a high level as the starter at power forward for the Nuggets. As a perennial All-Star, Millsap will be a key player for his new team. Denver will need Millsap to continue playing at an All-Star level in order to contend for a playoff spot in the 2017-18 season.
Millsap is heading into his 12th season in the league, during which he’ll be 32 years old. Until this point, he’s played for just two teams. After the Utah Jazz drafted him 47th overall in 2006, Millsap spent the first seven years of his career with the Jazz before signing with Atlanta in 2013.
