Coast 2 Coast Podcast Episode #20: Time for an NBA Reset

NBA reset: Austin and Dante hop on the pod to review the NBA landscape. First, the East with LWOPB's Lior Kozai, and then the Dubs-led West.

The NBA is finally back to “just the game”. After a hectic All-Star weekend filled with dunk contest disappointment and a week filled with trade deadline drama, the attention returned to the hardwood. With that, Austin and Dante set out to “reset” the NBA, as they break down where every team stands with a third of the season remaining.

First, the guys were joined, once again, by LWOPB’s Lior Kozai, to try to predict how the East turns out, especially post-Kyle Lowry injury. Other topics include who will compete for the eighth spot and whether there is hope in New York, Orlando, and Philadelphia. Then, Austin and Dante turn to a more clear-cut Western Conference. Can Houston play with the big boys in the West come playoff time? Can Boogie jumpstart New Orleans’ eighth seed chances? Finally, they ponder what the Lakers’ future looks like with Magic Johnson at the helm.
