Coast 2 Coast Podcast Episode #17: Philadelphia 76ers Deep Dive with Tom Hogan

Austin and Dante have a guest in this episode of the Coast 2 Coast Podcast. Tom Hogan, Philadelphia native and Penn State University student, joins the two to talk about all things Philly basketball. The group discusses Allen Iverson, his tumultuous depart, and his lasting legacy.

Before lamenting about the post-AI span of time, the three consider what could have been in Denver, and why putting shooters like Carmelo Anthony and Iverson together does not always work. As they continue through the Andrew Bynum Experience, they talk about the team’s misuse of draft picks as they transition into The Process. While all three share the same sentiment on the deposed Sam Hinkie, they debate the value of former picks Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor. The show closes with a hopeful Hogan foretelling a successful 76ers future behind Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.

Austin Cracraft and Dante Guarneri discuss everything from the wide world of the NBA, whether it be the latest update from a Banana Boat or a rookie screwing up on his Snapchat.
