Coast 2 Coast Podcast Episode #4: Central Division Preview
The constant roster turnover of the NBA seeped into the Central Division this past season and off-season, as a number of new faces are expected to take the offensive reins. From Dwyane Wade to Tobias Harris to Jeff Teague, there are new leaders in the locker room for some already successful teams in the division. The Cleveland Cavaliers may not have a road to the division title as easy as the ones they’ve had in the past two years.
Like last week’s Atlantic Division preview, Austin and Dante begin with the central theme of the division. This week, they examine the future of the league’s positions, with the Milwaukee Bucks leading the charge as a position-less team. Following a discussion of other teams’ structures, the two answer five different questions that were also in the last preview. These questions include: “Which team’s re-construction will work better – the Indiana Pacers or the Chicago Bulls?” and “Who was the best draft pick in this year’s class?” They wrap up the preview with a discussion of standings predictions and of the different power dynamics throughout the division.
