Offensively, he provided the exclamation point to the Dodgers’ sweep with three towering home runs—one to lead off the game against Jose Quintana, another in the fourth inning off reliever Chad Patrick, and his third blast of the day off reliever Trevor Megill. Both blasts electrified the home crowd and cemented Ohtani’s place as the centerpiece of this Dodgers dynasty in the making.
