The 2024 MLB Draft is coming to the Lonestar State this summer. The Texas Rangers will host the All-Star Game in July, and other parts of North Texas will have their own MLB events. The majority of the events during the five-day celebration of baseball will take place or close to Globe Life Field. The first night of the draft will have a little more Texas life to it. It will take place in Forth Worth Stockyards at the historic Cowtown Coliseum on Sunday, July 14. The 94th Midsummer Classic will be played at Globe Life Field on Tuesday, July 16.
It will make the second All-Star Game to be hosted by the Rangers following the 1995 All-Star Game at The Ballpark in Arlington.

2024 MLB Draft
For the fourth consecutive year, the 2024 MLB Draft will also take place during All-Star Week. The draft ceremony will be open to the public once again. After the first night of the draft, the remaining rounds will continue on Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 16. Any announcement on Attendees, broadcast information, timing and ticket purchases will come at a later date.

HBCU Swingman Classic presented by T-Mobile and powered by the MLB- MLBPA Youth Development Foundation: Friday, July 12
The HBCU Swingman Class is for baseball student-athletes from Division I programs at Historically Black Colleges & Universities. It highlights the history and legacy of HBCU baseball programs that allow them to showcase their talents on a bigger stage.
All-Star Commissioner’s Cup/ Jennie Finch Classic presented by ARM & HAMMER: Friday, July 12-Monday, July 15: Friday, July 12-Monday, July 15
The All-Star Commissioner’s Cup features teams of youth baseball players (ages 17 and under) from MLB Youth Academies across the country and Puerto Rico.
Capital One All-Star Village: Saturday, July 13- Tuesday, July 16
For the first time, All-Star Village will take place in a former Major League Ballpark, Choctaw Stadium. The Village will include an Esports Stadium and the North Lawn to create a one-of-a-kind baseball theme park.
