It is time for Willie Calhoun to prove that he belongs in the Major Leagues. It has been less than a week since he was designated for assignment. His numbers at the plate both at Triple-A and the majors have not been good. In 44 at-bats this season, Calhoun is hitting .136 with one home run, and two RBI in 18 games.
