NBA Tops and Flops of the Week‏- Dallas on Fire

With the NBA season rumbling on here is a look around the NBA to determine who has been great (tops) and not so great (flops) in the last seven days. Here are Your NBA Tops and Flops of the week:

NBA Tops and Flops of the Week‏- Dallas on Fire

Tops

Milwaukee Bucks- A three game winning streak saw them rise to a surprising fifth place the East. With great rookies and very good team spirit, the Bucks have shown that they could possibly make an unexpected push for the playoffs.

Dallas Mavericks- With six consecutive wins the Mavs have climbed to the third spot in the West thanks to a 10-3 record. Last year’s heartbreaking game seven loss in the first round of the playoffs against the Spurs (who went on to the win the championship) seems to have acted as a real building block for this franchise who are making a big statement early on.

Portland Trailblazers- Also on a six game win streak, the Blazers are looking very solid right now. With a 9-3 record and impressive 7-1 home record they could go very far this year.

Flops

Oklahoma City Thunder- This start for the season is getting worse and worse every game. Still without Westbrook and Durant, the Thunder have the second worst record in the League (3-11). With five consecutive defeats, they have already lost very precious ground in the playoffs race.

Philadelphia 76ers- With an 0-12 record, the Sixers are still looking for their first win this season. A very tough situation for Noel’s side who are hugely inferior to every team they face.

Brooklyn Nets- After a reasonable start to the season, the nets suffered a five game losing streak, giving them a record of 5-7. They are going to need to set that straight quickly to avoid losing too much ground on the other teams contending for a playoff spot, though their win against the Thunder should boost their confidence.
