Hammer 187: Shogun vs. Henderson Recap and More

The Boys at the Hammer feature weekly coverage of all things MMA. They have one of the premier radio shows in the world of MMA broadcasted weekly on Wednesday nights on 93.3 FM, CFMU. You can hear this week’s show here: Hammer Radio 187.

UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Henderson went down this past Sunday night from Natal, Brazil, and The Hammer MMA Radio crew were there in the building.  On this episode we recap a great night of fights, including post-fight interviews with Jussier Formiga, Scott Jorgensen, Rony Jason, and Kenny Robertson.

We also discuss the upcoming Bellator and World Series of Fighting events, as well as the unfortunate injury of Chris Weidman that has delayed his UFC Middleweight Championship fight against Lyoto Machida.

The Hammer features LastWordOnSports’ Greg Persson, long time internet superstar Steve Jeffery, and is hosted by MMA aficionado Dave Abraham.

The Hammer has had interviews with some of the biggest names in MMA over the years, including Georges St. Pierre, Matt Hughes, BJ Penn, Dan Henderson, Sean Sherk, Mark Coleman, Rory MacDonald, Brendan Schaub, Mark Bocek, John Makdessi, Mark Hominick, Martin Kampmann, Johnny Hendricks, TJ Grant, Miesha Tate, and others.

They continue to bring unparalleled, independent coverage of all things MMA to fans of the sport and they always bring you straight goods and the last word. They are recognized and credentialed by UFC, Bellator, Invicta, and many other smaller MMA promotions.

They show is one of the voters for the UFC’s Official Rankings, and you can check out their articles, right here at LWOS, explaining the thought processes they go through in making changes to their ballots after every UFC show.
