These are some good looking All-Star teams, that should lead to a lot of fun, it is yet to be announced who the starting pitchers will be, but with no RA Dickey and David Price (last years Cy Young Winners) in the game I see Justin Verlander and the hometown hero Matt Harvey as the front runners for the starting position, but that’s just my guess.
Of course this isn’t the final roster there are the final vote candidates to think about on the list below which represents who you can vote for.
Joaquin Benoit (Tigers) Ian Desmond (Nationals)
Steve Delabar (Jays) Freddie Freeman (Braves)
David Robertson (Yankees) Adrian Gonzalez (Dodgers)
Tanner Scheppers (Rangers) Hunter Pence (Gaints)
Koji Uehara (Red Sox) Yasiel Puig (Dodgers)
In my opinion in the AL it could be anyone I’m hoping for Steve Delabar, there hasn’t be a big amount of things to cheer about, but if Delabar makes with Cecil it represents one of the best things about the Jays, their bullpen. As for the NL I’ll be in shock if Yasiel Puig doesn’t make it. He has been one of the most talked about players in the past month and has been dominant since his callup. We don’t know how long this dominance will last, but right now he’s playing like an All-Star and I think there are enough voters out there that will vote for Puig to appear in the game.
For now as you look at the list we see who should be at the All-Star game, but this list could change by game day. Mainly because of injuries and scheduling conflicts that involve starting pitchers and when their next start will be after the All-Star break, but until those changes happen take a look and see who the All-Stars of 2013 are and start the debate who should be there and who shouldn’t.
