Black Label Pro Postpones Slamilton 2020

Black Label Pro

Black Label Pro was set to host another epic double-header entitled Slamilton. On Thursday, the promotion made the difficult decision to postpone the event due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in the mid-west. The statement shared on social media was:

“We have decided for the safety of our talent, our fans, and all of our families. It would be the most responsible decision to postpone #Slamilton. This exact show will happen when things get better. If you sponsored, they are still getting paid. We said from the very beginning. Safety is everything. This is a very expensive decision we are making. But it’s the only one that feels right. Please support us, support our amazing talent, and support independent wrestling as a whole.”

This event was shaping up to be one of the best of the entire year, with Trish Adora set to defend her Pan-Afrikan World Diaspora Wrestling Championship against Jonathan Gresham, Billy Roc coming out of retirement, and featuring matches including Jordynne Grace, Top Flight, WARHORSE, AJ Gray, Blake Christian, and many other top names in wrestling today. Black Label Pro will host the Slamilton event when it is again safe for them to run shows in Indiana for their crew, talent, and fans. It is hoped that these matches will remain unchanged as many are on paper match of the year candidates.
