Ring of Honor announced today that they will be joining Sinclair Broadcasting’s STIRR streaming service, which launched in January 2019, with a brand new, free, digital-first 24/7 channel, “ROH Best on the Planet.” The channel will grant fans access to no shortage of Ring of Honor content, delivered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“This is in line with our mission to be the most engaging promotion for all wrestling fans with the easiest accessibility to the absolute Best Wrestling On The Planet,” COO Joe Koff said in the announcement made on Wednesday. “ROH Best On The Planet provides us another unique platform to maximize exposure and fan experience.”
According to the announcement, “ROH Best On The Planet will deliver a non-stop schedule of ROH programming, including brand new and past episodes of Ring of Honor’s flagship television series, as well as past On Tour and Pay Per View events featuring ROH stars performing in some of the most memorable matches in wrestling history. ROH Best on the Planet is the 24/7 destination for the high-flying stars and hard-hitting action of Ring of Honor Wrestling. Additional content will be regularly added to ROH Best On The Planet, allowing fans to experience the Best Wrestling On The Planet” anytime they want.
A free, ad-supported streaming service, STIRR features a mix of live local news, TV shows, movies, sports, and lifestyle programming. The network, per week, delivers more than 2,400 hours of live local news, 100 linear channels and more than 5,000 hours of video on demand movies and TV series. The STIRR app is available on Roku TV, Fire TV, Apple TV as well as iOS and Android devices or at www.STIRR.com. Based in Santa Monica, CA, STIRR is a first of its kind OTT service created, owned and operated by Sinclair Broadcast Group.
