Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ended with a bang, as Best Friends Trent Baretta & Chuck Taylor managed to fight off “Le Sex Gods” Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara of the Inner Circle to maintain their position as #1 Contenders to the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) World Tag Team Championships at the upcoming two-part Fyter Fest specials on TNT. Best Friends will now face AEW World Tag champs Kenny Omega & Adam “Hangman” Page in the coming weeks. But the biggest story may be the singles match that came out of the ending melee. Following the match, a dejected Chris Jericho was approached by one of AEW’s cameramen and it turned out to be Best Friends’ other bestie, Orange Cassidy, someone who has been a thorn in Jericho’s side for weeks.
