Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) are currently hosting the 16 Carat Gold weekend. As part of that weekend of festivities, they held their AMBITION tournament. AMBITION is a shoot-style tournament where one can only win via submission, KO, or referee stoppage. wXw brought in excellent fighters from all over the world and it was Daniel Makabe that emerged as the winner of the tournament.

Makabe is someone that is expected to have a breakout year in 2020 as he has been gaining buzz in places like 3-2-1 Battle and has some exciting matches announced for Mania Week. Daniel Makabe has kicked off this period with an impressive victory of the 12th AMBITIOn tournament.
Makabe defeated Kevin Lloyd in the first round via submission, in the semi-finals he defeated Ireland’s Scotty Davis via referee stoppage. Makabe would meet Chris Ridgeway in the finals of the tournament in a battle between a technician and a striker, the technician would emerge victorious as Makabe walked away with the victory.
