Preview: West Coast Pro Wrestling – In A Major Way (12/6/19)

West Coast Pro Wrestling is preparing to finish off 2019 with their most loaded show to date (In A Major Way). Headlined by WCPW Champion Hammerstone defending his Title against GCW World Champion, making his Northern California debut, the leader of the MDK, the GOD of THIS SHIT, Nick Fucking GAGE! Top to bottom, this card has it all for any wrestling fan, of any age, an incredible blend of talent with an atmosphere that is hard to beat. Tickets are still available at Eventbrite and if you are in the area, I would HIGHLY recommend coming to this show and losing your minds with me.

West Coast Pro Championship match: Hammerstone (C) vs GCW World Champion Nick FUCKING Gage

Hammerstone’s 2019 has been filled with world traveling and gold collecting, becoming a star on MLW television and controlling the throne of WCPW. After defeating Tyler Bateman for the then-vacant WCPW Title, Hammerstone has turned away JR Kratos and Trey Miguel in impressive fashion. Gage comes into WCPW, for the first time. And he has one thing on his mind, to kick Hammerstone’s ass and celebrate with MDK. Gage’s 2019 has been a cornucopia of chaos and big-time moments. Gage is the reigning GCW World Champion, a title that he has dominated opposition to defend for the last 720 days and is currently missing by the hands of Rickey Shane Page. This match is sure to be explosive.

Starboy Charlie vs Jake Atlas

Charlie, the 16-year-old phenom has been taking the Northern California scene by storm in 2019, winning over the WCPW crowd, in a major way, with his high-flying, never-say-die approach. Jake Atlas has been one of the best things about wrestling in 2019 and is heading onto bigger things soon, but first, he and Charlie will show the world what they are capable of.

Thunder Rosa vs Faye Jackson

Rosa is the queen of WCPW, winning the first Women’s match in company history and holding a special place in the hearts of all WCPW faithful. Rosa is a star in every sense of the word and has recently started her MMA career, but she faces a big test in the debuting Faye Jackson. Jackson is an ultra charismatic ass-kicker and a bright spot on any show she’s apart of. Current Pro Wrestling Magic Women’s Champion and recent tourist of the wXw promotion in Germany, Faye has an impressive resume in 2019 and looks to add a huge victory over Rosa to that list.

The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) vs The Letovers (Andy Brown & Eric Watts)

This should be incredible. Current PWG Tag Team Champions and Impact Wrestling stars, Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz are among the top tag teams in all of professional wrestling. Mixing an ultra-entertaining blitzkrieg of action, The Rascalz come in and light it up, smoking out the competition and leave fans in a frenzy for more. Brown & Watts are two of the top talents on the SoCal scene, teaming up more frequently of late and punishing opponents with their blend of big-man power and intense striking. I am really looking forward to the dialog and action that will come from these 4.

Triple Threat match: Trey Miguel vs Rich Swann vs Chris Bey

Ultra intriguing clash of 3 here as the hits keep coming with this card. All of them exciting, all of them innovative and all willing to bring the fight to their opponent’s chin, this will be fast-paced and jaw-dropping. Trey and Swann are highly decorated, globally known and respected, Bey is on fire right now and there seems to be no stopping him. All three are winners and expect to have their hand raised at the end of their match, Trey is coming off a loss in a WCPW Title match against Hammerstone and is looking to right the shop. LET’S GOOOO

Gauntlet match: Titus Alexander vs Derek Slade vs RJ Santos vs Slice Boogie vs Daniel Garcia vs Cody Vance

I am so happy to see this match on this card, a great showcase of young California talent, mixed with Garcia, RED DEATH, from New York. There are so many exciting match-up possibilities with this win and survive format. Titus is one of the most popular humans inside the WCPW universe, this youngster is sure to impress every time out. Slade and Boogie are great at being hated, but are undeniably good and only getting better. Santos, along with Boogie, is from the acclaimed Santino Brothers school and has quickly won over the fans with his aggressive, pace-pushing style. Garcia is one of the top, young technical wrestlers on the scene right now and is coming off a GREAT match with Tyler Bateman inside the WCPW ring. Vance is based mainly out of the South, working mostly in Georgia and recently faced Josh Briggs on an EVOLVE show. An impressive looking youngster that will make his Northern California debut and will look to show what the Monster Factory product is all about.

This is one of the better cards you will see from the Northern California region and I cannot wait to be sitting front row, with the crew, enjoying this wonderful show. If you cannot make it to San Francisco for the show, you can follow along LIVE on Twitch
