Before rising to fame with New Japan Pro Wrestling Kenny Omega was making waves in DDT as a regular for five years but he has not wrestled there since 2014 when he made the jump to NJPW. It was in DDT that we would see the Golden Lovers emerge as tag partners and later rivals as DDT had one of it’s most hyped periods in company history as fans from all around the world took notice of the two men putting on fantastic matches.
It is a huge coup for DDT who have reportedly been partnered with All Elite Wrestling who have used DDT/TJPW talent like Yuka Sakazaki, Michael Nakazawa and Shoko Nakajima so far on their shows.
