The Chaos Is Over: England’s Pro Wrestling Chaos Announces Closure

Pro Wrestling CHAOS

Fresh off the heels of Defiant Wrestling announcing they were closing their doors and Jim Smallman revealing he was stepping away from PROGRESS Wrestling at the end of 2019, another promotion has announced their closure as the Bristol-based Pro Wrestling Chaos (PWC) have told their fans that February 2020 will be their final show.

England’s Pro Wrestling Chaos Announces Closure

Pro Wrestling Chaos held their first show in June of 2013 after being founded by three best friends. Together, Dave Youell, Rob Clark, and Nick Woolcock decided to host a wrestling show in Bristol, and see where things went from there. By the sounds of things, they had no clue that PWC would go on to become one of the UK’s finest promotions. They grew to prominence in no time, thanks in part to the talented roster they’ve had over the years. Mike Bird, Eddie Dennis, Sierra Loxton, Shax, Flash Morgan Webster, Dick Riley, Jinny, Martin Kirby, El Ligero, the list goes on.

With a roster featuring these names alongside some of the finest rising stars in the United Kingdom, PWC was able to sell out show after show after show. The fans simply couldn’t get enough of Pro Wrestling Chaos. Not only were they using homegrown English talent, but PWC management has also been able to secure some of the world’s greatest wrestlers over the years. The likes of Chuck Taylor, Chris Hero (now Kassius Ohno), Jonathan Gresham, Drew Gulak, Tommaso Ciampa, Sugar Dunkerton, and Jeff Cobb have graced Pro Wrestling Chaos with their presence. While their usual roster was already fantastic, these bigger names drew more and more fans to the venues.

Since the beginning, PWC has wanted to promote shows that every wrestling fan can head along and enjoy. No matter if you’ve been a fan since the ’90s when it was all about the characters or if you’re an indie wrestling fan that wants to see some of the best talents on offer from the UK and further afield, then Pro Wrestling Chaos is the promotion for you. If you’re in the area, make sure you get along to a Chaos show before they take that ring down for the final time in February 2020.
