Just days before IMPACT Slammiversary XVII this Sunday, IMPACT Wrestling is presenting an IMPACT+ exclusive event on Friday night called Bash at the Brewery, featuring some huge match-ups leading into one of IMPACT’s flagship PPVs. Apart from the matches announced, the full Rascalz trio of Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel are also slated to appear.
IMPACT Wrestling – Bash at the Brewery
Jessicka Havok vs. Jordynne Grace
While the first Dark War ended in tragedy with the “death” of Allie, the war still rages on as Father James Mitchell has added more firepower from the dark side. Former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Jessicka Havok has made her return to IMPACT a forceful one, as one of Mitchell’s minions and aid to Su Yung. The monster Havok will be facing arguably the strongest pound-for-pound wrestler on IMPACT’s roster in Jordynne Grace, in what is sure to be one of the biggest power displays of the evening.
Michael Elgin vs. Eddie Edwards
Former Ring of Honor World Champion and NJPW star Michael Elgin has been on a mission to get his hands on the IMPACT World Championship since his debut earlier this year, and he’ll get that chance on Sunday at Slammiversary. But on Friday night, he’ll be facing one of the loose cannons of IMPACT in former IMPACT World Champion Eddie Edwards. Edwards is still recoiling mentally from his feud with Sami Callihan last year and continues to dance with danger on the extreme side.
oVe (Dave and Jake Crist & Mad Man Fulton) vs. Tessa Blanchard, Rich Swann & Willie Mack
Tessa Blanchard is facing oVe’s leader, Sami Callihan, in an intergender battle on Sunday at Slammiversary, but on Friday night, she’ll be facing the rest of oVe – the Crist Brothers and the enforcer Mad Man Fulton – in 6-person tag action. For her partners, she’s enlisted the help of two other men on the IMPACT roster with problems with oVe, in IMPACT X-Division Champion Rich Swann and Willie Mack.
Rosemary vs. Su Yung
The second Dark War continues, as “The Demon Assassin” Rosemary seeks revenge for the death of her bunny Allie at the end of the first Dark War. IMPACT’s favorite demon seems to be locked in an eternal battle for soul supremacy with “The Undead Bride” Su Yung, and the two bitter rivals will lock horns once again on Friday night.
Brian Cage vs. Moose (Non-Title Match)
Set to defend his IMPACT World Championship against Michael Elgin on Sunday night, Brian Cage has a warm-up match on Friday night where he’ll face a man that has constantly fallen short in his own quest for IMPACT’s top prize, “Mr. IMPACT Wrestling” Moose. Cage has been suffering through injury again of late, so Moose may have an upper advantage on Friday night. And if Moose can pull off the upset victory, it just may put him back in line for a future World title shot.
IMPACT World Tag Team Championship: LAX (Santana & Ortiz) w/ Konnan vs. The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander)
LAX‘s Santana and Ortiz continue their amazing run as IMPACT Wrestling’s longest reigning tag team in history, and on Friday they put that run on the line once again. Friday’s opponents are a newer tandem to IMPACT Wrestling in The North, featuring Ethan Page and Josh Alexander. While new to IMPACT, these two have over a decade of experience together. Previously known as Monster Mafia, they’ve had wars in ROH and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), where they were previously PWG World Tag Team Champions.
Extreme Rules Match: Sami Callihan vs. Rob Van Dam
In the main event, oVe’s Sami Callihan is heading to an Extreme Rules Match against one of the names synonymous with the Land of the Extreme, in former ECW Superstar Rob Van Dam. Callihan has proven to be a man who has used the ultraviolence to do his bidding the past few years, but RVD is no slouch. He’s a former WWE, IMPACT and ECW World Champion and continues to thrill audiences with his high flying reckless abandon. RVD continues his return run with IMPACT and on Friday night, he and Callihan will headline the event with a match to the extreme!
