#AndNEW: DJ Z Wins AAW Heritage Title from Trevor Lee

At tonight’s All American Wrestling (AAW) event Last Call, the company’s final show at their legendary venue Knights of Columbus in Lasalle, Illinois, IMPACT Wrestling star and indie superstar DJ Z defeated Trevor Lee to become the new AAW Heritage Champion.

DJ Z Wins AAW Heritage Title from Trevor Lee

It marks DJ Z’s second reign as AAW Heritage Champion. He’d held it previously, losing it to Trevor Lee back in February at AAW Showdown ’18. DZ Z ended Lee’s reign at 294 days. The title loss by Trevor Lee will no doubt add fuel to the rumors of Lee heading to the WWE Performance Center in January of 2019 as part of the next NXT recruitment class.

In a shocking main event, Brody King retained his AAW Heavyweight title against “The Mad King” Eddie Kingston. King has recently signed with Ring of Honor and said his farewells to California’s PCW ULTRA last night. Many expected King to lose the belt tonight before he heads brand exclusive in January.
