Seth Rollins at WWE WrestleMania 42: 4 Backup Plans After Bron Breakker Injury

Seth “Freakin” Rollins has been out of action with a shoulder injury since October 2025. The Visionary injured himself during a hard-fought battle with Cody Rhodes. WWE had to write Rollins off TV, and his stablemates, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, turned on him. Thus, Rollins was kicked out of the very faction he created and had to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship.

The direction was clear for Rollins upon return. The Visionary was going to go after Breakker once he was cleared. It was more a matter of when rather than “if.” WWE was already planting the seeds for the eventual match with the mystery attacker angle. A masked individual jumped on Breakker during his entrance in the Men’s Royal Rumble, leading to an anticlimactic elimination.

Paul Heyman and many fans were convinced that Rollins was the mastermind behind the attack. Unfortunately, Breakker suffered an untimely hernia injury, which puts his WrestleMania status and rumored match with the Visionary in jeopardy.

Nonetheless, WWE has plenty of time to come up with a backup plan, and here we’ll propose a few alternatives.

#4. Seth Rollins Could Face Logan Paul

After kicking out Rollins from the Vision, Paul Heyman recruited Logan Paul into his faction. Although Paul isn’t the leader of the group, he has taken the Revolutionary’s spot in many ways. This makes the Maverick a natural target for the Visionary.

Furthermore, Rollins and Paul have plenty of history. They had a high-profile feud at the beginning of 2023, which culminated in a thrilling bout at WrestleMania 39. The Revolutionary got the better of the YouTube sensation that day, and both men have remained largely indifferent to one another since their first clash at Mania.

As Paul wasn’t involved in the Vision’s turn against Rollins, it would take a little extra effort to build a compelling storyline between the two Superstars. However, if history is any indication, the promos and eventual match will certainly set the world on fire.
