Would Lainey Reid Bring Home the Title Sweep for Fatal Influence on 11/25 WWE NXT?

Last week at Night 1 of Gold Rush, Jacy Jayne won the NXT Women’s Championship for the second time. She had some help winning it, though, as Izzi Dame and the Culling turned her back on Tatum Paxley. At Night 2 of Gold Rush, it was the other members of Fatal Influence’s turn to win gold themselves, potentially. Fallon Henley had a Women’s Speed Championship match against Zaria, while Lainey Reid had a Women’s Evolve Championship match against Kendal Grey.

Since Jayne won last week, they wanted to win their matches to make themselves and Jayne proud. Were they able to sweep the competition, making Fatal Influence the most powerful faction in NXT?

Reid Fails to Take Down Grey in Women’s Evolve Title Match

The November 25, 2025, episode of NXT was the conclusion of the two-week Gold Rush special. With Jayne winning last week, it was time for Henley and Reid to step up. Henley did, as she captured the Women’s Speed Championship in a sudden-death round with Zaria. After that, everyone was looking at Reid.

A lot of weight just got put on her shoulders. Jayne and Henley kicked out Jazmyn Nyx for underperforming in key moments. Would she suffer the same fate? Unless she won the title, that could be a possibility.

The match was pretty good. Grey has deserved to be the Evolve Women’s Champion. She has picked up key wins on Evolve as well as defeating Lash Legend in what was her final match in NXT. Wren Sinclair has also been a good friend to her, but Jayne and Henley gave Reid the numbers advantage on the outside. Unfortunately, that advantage turned out to be the key to Grey’s victory.

The latter two tried to distract the ref while Grey and Reid were on the ground. Sinclair knocked Henley down and got the attention of a confused Grey, wondering why she was out there. Jayne knocked down Sinclair into the arms of Charlie Dempsey, who was back from Japan. Grey kicked Jayne to the outside, giving her a new life in the match.

She then kicked out of a quick pin. Reid went up to the top rope after kicking Grey, but the latter suplexed her to the mat. She got up, but got hit with the Shades of Grey for the loss. Now, Reid is the only member of Fatal Influence without a title. Would Jayne and Henley be understanding, given that they were out there trying to help her win?

That’s a possibility, but what happened to Nyx is still on a lot of people’s minds. The future of Reid in Fatal Influence remains to be seen after a hard-fought loss to Grey.
