TNA iMPACT! After The Bell (3/20/2025): El Paso Fuego

TNA iMPACT! After The Bell (3/20/2025): El Paso Fuego

If you carefully read my preview of TNA iMPACT!, you now know if Nygma’s crystal ball was right or wrong. And, usually, as springtime comes and hay-fever time comes back, the crystal ball strangely is clearer than ever (I sneeze, therefore, I am, it seems to say).  It’s time to analyze what happened and what it means, as Sacrifice is now behind us, and Rebellion is coming soon, on April 27.

Targets: TNA Tag Team Titles

The Rascalz

Nic and Ryan Nemeth were in the ring to address their shocking betrayal of Matt Hardy at Sacrifice. Nic claimed that he was the reason for the success of TNA over the last year, and blamed The Hardys for sliding in and taking all the credit.

Nic said that Matt tried to drive a wedge between him and his brother, but he and Ryan are the greatest brother tag team in the history of pro wrestling. Leon Slater’s eardrums couldn’t listen to much more, he came to tell them to shut up, but he ate a Superkick from Nic Nemeth in return.

One year is nothing in the life of a company. The impact you make and the person you are defines the legacy you are willing to leave in people’s minds. Last year, Nic Nemeth seemed to be taking the right road. He has just screwed up all his efforts because of his ego. The ecstasy of gold, as always…

El Paso’s Mind Games

Sami is not done with Mance

Sometimes, the Nygma is a broken record, mostly with the people and storylines she adores. Mance had a squash match against El Paso’s talent. A minute and a half later, things were wrapped.

They left the building to be powdered and attacked by Sami Callihan. DOA Santino Marella was not too far to stop them (magic) and asked security to “cuff these animals before they kill each other.”

What did you expect? There will end in a blood bath, or nothing.

Ali is afraid of Santana

Mustafa Ali knew he had very few chances to win without Tasha Steelz and The Great Hands by his side. So when Santana was close to the victory, Ali fled. He told Gia Miller later he would be the one addiction that Mike Santana does not beat.
Ali is wrong, he is not an addiction. He is Santana’s fuel to be at his best and show his best.
Ali thinks he’s done with Santana. Wrong again.
Santana deserves a win to show the TNA fans and the world that his demons have become the keys to his success and are not a reason for him to fall back into a tormented past. This storyline is far from over.

Chavo is not afraid of AJ Francis

Chavo Guerrero Jr. made his highly-anticipated return as a guest on the FIR$T CLA$$ Penthou$e.  A.J. Francis and KC Navarro insulted the fans in El Paso, but Frankie Kazarian reminded Chavo that they have unfinished business from many years ago.

To be precise, Kazarian is locked in 2012/2013, when Kaz and Chris Daniels were involved in a feud with Hernandez and Guerrero, with the TNA World Tag Team Titles on the line. Honestly, when you have a Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy in hand, which means your future is bright if you cash it at the right moment, why focus on the past?

Advice from Nygma to Kaz, my psychologist is excellent for everything past.

“Surprize…”

I try to find the best nickname for Arianne Grace. Mini Milan Miracle? Miss NXTNA?

A bit complicated as, when it comes to being the liaison between the 2 companies, things end up messy for “Miss NXT.” In less than a week, five new NXT women wrestlers have crossed the lines. The Elegances now have 2 NXT teams running after their newly won titles.

TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich was just rid of Cora Jade, and here came Jacy Jayne, supported by Tessa Blanchard. Director of Authority Santino Marella, Arianna’s Daddy, announced that Slamovich and Jayne will face off 1-on-1 next week, with Blanchard banned from ringside.

When it comes to making mistakes, Miss NXT is here. When it comes to solving them, DOA Santino is, as usual, himself.

The Nygma’s Last Word(s)

As Hannibal Smith said, I love it when a plan comes together. When the crystal ball is that damn good, it means the Nygma definitely had what she wanted.

This Fallout episode was stacked and good. The Road to Rebellion seems to be Milan-Miracled…

The Nutcracking spirit that has been my signature for many years now makes me say to you, don’t fall in the apples too fast (French way to say not to faint), that’s just a Nygma point of view.

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling.
