NXT Showdown Men's Elimination Tag Team Match

WWE NXT ShowDown Preview (10/7/25) – Who will Come out on Top: NXT or TNA?

Since WWE and TNA had announced their partnership with one another, fans have been waiting for the ultimate showdown between both brands. This coming Tuesday will be a lucky day for fans as we see NXT Showdown. All matches on this card will be someone from NXT vs. someone in TNA.

Both NXT and TNA have incredible talent on their roster. Some of the best talent on each brand has been chosen to represent and compete this Tuesday night. But what brand will come out on top? Are you Team NXT or Team TNA?

Women’s Elimination Showdown

Last week’s episode of NXT was intense, as both NXT and TNA were present, given that NXT Showdown was being discussed. The teams were picked last week for the 4-on-4 Survivor Series-style match-up.

Jacy Jayne was named leader of the NXT Women’s Team as she is the NXT Women’s Champion. To fight alongside her, she chose Jaida Parker, Lola Vice, and Sol Ruca. While on Team TNA, the leader is Kelani Jordan, TNA Knockouts Champion. Jordan chose Jessie McKay, Cassie Lee, and Mara Sade to represent TNA.

Jayne and Jordan had exchanged some words with each other last week about Jordan fighting alongside Team TNA, even though she started in NXT. Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee were also once with NXT and WWE as the IIconics. Times have since changed, and they all fight hard for their brand, but who will come out on top?

NXT’s Jordynne Grace was announced to be the special guest referee for this match-up.

Who Will Be the Last One(s) Standing?

Not just one, but two Survivor Series-style elimination matches will take place Tuesday night. The men will also have an NXT vs. TNA matchup.

NXT Champion, Ricky Saints, is NXT’s team leader. He will be fighting alongside TNA Champion Trick Williams, Je’von Evans, and Myles Borne. Mike Santana was appointed the team leader of Team TNA and will be fighting with Moose, Leon Slater, and Frank Kazarian.

There were already tensions among Team NXT, as Trick Williams continues to try to step up as leader, given that he is also a champion. Will the two be able to coexist at NXT ShowDown? What team are you on?

TNA’s Joe Hendry has been made the special guest referee of the match.
