The card will be main evented by MJF defending his AEW World Heavyweight Championship against Jay White. The main card begins at 8 pm Eastern Time with the Zero Hour pre-show starting at 7 pm Eastern Time. News From the Show
Adam Cole Comes to the Aid of MJF
MJF defended the ROH World Tag Team Championships with Samoa Joe as part of the Zero Hour show tonight. Joe took the place of an injured Adam Cole to tag with MJF. MJF now owes Joe a shot at the AEW World Championship should he retain tonight against Jay White. Adam Cole’s music hit towards the end of the match as he came down to the ring on crutches. The distraction allowed Samoa Joe to pick up the win. After the match The Gunns assaulted MJF, targeting the knee with a chair in an attempt to soften him up for Jay White tonight. Cole watched helplessly as the beatdown occurred. MJF had to be stretchered to the back and was taken away in an ambulance.
Main Event in Jeproady
Following the beatdown of MJF on the pre-show, Tony Schivone brought out Jay White to crown him the new AEW World Champion due to MJF’s inability to compete. This brought out Adam Cole. He claimed that he will defend the belt for MJF if MJF is not able to.
Blockbuster Signing – Will Ospreay
Will Ospreay is officially #AllElite. He signed his contract in the ring with Tony Schiavone at Full Gear. He made it clear he will finish up his time with New Japan Pro Wrestling but will be on the road to Revolution.
MJF Returns to the Forum
After being taken away in an ambulance following Zero Hour, MJF returned just in time to face Jay White for the AEW World Championship. Adam Cole, who is still recovering from a foot injury was ready to take his place and defend on his behalf.
