News From Sacrifice
Championship Shake Ups
Last night it was announced that Mickie James had to be pulled from the show due to an injury. The status of the Knockouts World Championship will be addressed during the show tonight by James herself. Josh Alexander also had to relinquish the IMPACT World Championship as he had tricep surgery just this morning. Steve Maclin will now face KUSHIDA at Rebellion for the vacant championship.
Mickie James Injury Update
Mickie James announced she has a broken rib and cannot compete at Sacrifice and will not be able to compete at Multiverse United. She is hoping to be back by Rebellion. The four-way at Multiverse United will now feature Masha Slamovich instead of James. The winner of the match at Multiverse United will face Jordynne Grace and Mickie James (if she is able to compete) for the Knockouts Championship at Rebellion.
The Return of Tasha Steelz
Following Deonna Purazzo’s victory over Gisele Shaw, Tasha Steelz returned to confront her former tag team partner Savannah Evans. After it looked like the two would reunite, Steelz attacked Evans and stood tall in the ring.
Jody Threat is Coming to IMPACT
A vignette for Jody Threat aired following the PCO and Kenny King match. No debut date was announced.
