The team of Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd known better known as The Outrunners have attracted interest from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), sources tell Last Word On Sports. The two stars out of Ohio Valley Wrestling earned an opportunity recently when they first appeared on the September 8th, 2021 episode of AEW Dark Elevation when they faced the team of The Butcher and The Blade. After several other appearances between AEW Dark and AEW Dark Elevation, the tandem made their debut on national television during the February 1st, 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite when The Outrunners faced the tag team of The Acclaimed, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens.

Sources further tell Last Word On Sports that the tag team made a big impact on AEW management during their previous appearances but were also impressed by those in WWE who were pleased with the team’s “old school” characters and over-the-top charisma. While the team is likely new to the AEW and national television audience, the two have had successful careers.
Truth Magnum, formerly known as Shiloh Jones first came on to the professional wrestling scene as far back as 2008 when he had his first match on record against the late Buddy Wayne in TCW, Tulalip Championship Wrestling. Months later, Shiloh would go on to wrestle for OVW and would spend the majority of his illustrious career with the prestigious organization that has had ties to WWE in the past, and ties to IMPACT Wrestling and other promotions. Truth Magnum is a multi-time OVW Southern Tag Team Champion, a multi-time OVW Anarchy Champion, and a multi-time OVW Television champion.
Turbo Floyd, formerly known as Randall Floyd first came on the scene back in 2017, beginning his career with OVW, when he wrestled a Dark match on the June 21, 2017, episode of OVW TV. Floyd would wrestle throughout his career with OVW and throughout the Independent Circuit. Floyd is a former six-time OVW Television champ and the current co-holder of the OVW Southern Tag Team Champion alongside Truth Magnum.
The story of The Outrunners are one from humble beginnings and based on extremely hard work and the passion to do whatever it takes to get to the top of this great industry. With the recent attention the two have garnered from the Sports Entertainment juggernaut, and with the impressive work done on AEW Television, it will be interesting to see where the successful tag team ends up.
