Last Knockout Standing
Jordynne Grace and Masha Slamovich will go head to head in a Bound for Glory rematch. At Bound for Glory, these two pushed each other to their limits in an extremely physical and back-and-forth match. In the end, it was Grace that had her hand raised as she retained her Knockouts Championship. This ended a 2022 winning streak for Slamovich in IMPACT. This did not sit well with Slamovich. Following a match between Grace and Gisele Shaw, Slamovich attacked Grace from behind before suplexing her into a pile of chairs on the entrance ramp.
It is clear there is still some unfinished business between these two. Now Slamovich has the chance to capture the Knockouts Championship from Grace in a Last Knockouts Standing match. Both of these competitors bring strength to the ring. Slamovich has made it clear she is comfortable using chairs and other dangerous methods to get a message across. Buckle up for this one, it promises to be a hard-hitting match at Over Drive 2022.
Option C is Invoked
It didn’t take Frankie Kazarian long to invoke Option C. Kazarian defeated “Speedball” Mike Bailey at Bound for Glory 2022 for the X-Division Championship. The following week on IMPACT he vacated the X-Division Championship for a chance at Josh Alexander and the IMPACT World Championship. The two successfully teamed up to defeat Aussie Open on a recent episode of IMPACT Wrestling. At Over Drive they will put any friendship aside to compete for the biggest prize in IMPACT Wrestling.
Alexander is no stranger to Option C. He successfully utilized Option C at Bound for Glory 2021 to defeat Christian Cage for the IMPACT World Championship. His celebration was short-lived as Moose cashed in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy to defeat him moments later. Alexander knows how successful Option C can be. He is looking to stop Kazarian from successfully cashing in at Over Drive 2022.
