Toni Storm will defend her AEW Interim Women’s Championship against Serena Deeb on the September 28 episode of AEW Dynamite. Deeb pinned Storm on the September 14 episode of AEW Dynamite in a tag team bout that saw Deeb team with Britt Baker and Storm team with Athena.
During the AEW All Out media scrum, Toni Storm said she wanted to face Serena Debb in a title match.
This week’s Dynamite may be subject to changes as Tony Khan has posted on his Twitter that any staff worried about the path of Hurricane Ian and how it could disrupt their travel would be allowed to miss the show. It’s not currently known if that is what caused this match to be made or if it was always going to take place but either way, we’re delighted to see some great women’s wrestling on Dynamite.
Here is the current lineup for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.

- Chris Jericho Champion celebration
- ROH World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Bandido
