Preview: AEW Dark (07/26/2022) – All-Atlantic Championship Defense

AEW Dark All-Atlantic Championship

It’s time for another episode of AEW Dark, and with nine matches set to take place, this one promises to be action-packed. Ari Daivari returns to the AEW ring and looks to score a win against Blake Christian. Dante Martin looks to rebound from a loss to Lee Moriarty as he takes on The Wingmen’s “Pretty” Peter Avalon. Our focus for tonight’s AEW Dark will be on the AEW All-Atlantic Championship as Pac looks to defend against LJ Cleary.

PAC Championship Defense

PAC continues to prove himself a fighting champion as he takes on LJ Cleary. For those unfamiliar with his work, Cleary has shown to be a promising prospect through his work with ICW, Phoenix Wrestling, and, most notably, OTT. This match will also have some historical significance, as Cleary will be the first Irish-born wrestler to challenge for an AEW championship.

That said, I do not see him becoming the first Irish AEW Champion, at least not yet. PAC has been on a dominant run, having not lost a singles match since his encounter with Andrade El Idolo in September last year. Not to mention, this is the first time PAC has held AEW gold, and I don’t see him letting go of that strap anytime soon.
