The story of Flair’s last match is being told through the docu-series, Ric Flair: The Last Match. Through the series we have learned the Nature Boy’s motivations, as well as his opponents. It comes full circle for Jay Lethal, who’s career trajectory went straight up following a program with Flair in TNA (now IMPACT Wrestling). Flair also gets the chance to close his career on his terms, after having returned to the ring after his first retirement match. Despite the special moments with Lethal, he has described his return to the ring in that era as his biggest regret.
Ric also gets to bring it home in a personal way, teaming with the newlywed Andrade, husband of Flair’s daughter Charlotte. Ric Flair’s Last Match takes place on July 31, 2022 at the historic Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Tickets are available at RicFlairsLastMatch.com; if you are unable to attend in person, you can order the event via FITE.TV.
