Athena To Make Warrior Wrestling Debut

Athena Warrior Wrestling

Athena (formerly known as Ember Moon) will make her Warrior Wrestling debut on December 12th. She will take on current Warrior Wrestling Women’s champion Thunder Rosa.

Athena To Challenge Thunder Rosa at Warrior Wrestling 19

Athena will challenge Rosa for her Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title in Cicero Illinois on February 12th. The announcement was made on Athena’s Twitch stream, where Athena confronted Rosa during a video package. This will be the first match outside of a WWE ring since 2015. Athena’s last match was in October of 2021 where she lost to Mandy Rose on an episode of NXT 2.o.

Thunder Rosa won the Women’s Championship from Kylie Rae at Night 3 of the 2021 Stadium Series. She has successfully defended it inside and outside of a Warrior Wrestling ring against Madi Wrenkowski, Mercedes Martinez, and La Rosa Negra. Rosa will have a tough test ahead of her in the form of Athena. Both are veterans of the squared circle and this match promises to be hard-hitting.

Warrior Wrestling presents its 19th show live from Cicero Stadium. Other matches already announced include Sam Adonis against Lince Dorado for the Warrior Wrestling Lucha Championship, Speedball Mike Bailey vs. Santana, Bandido vs. Dante Martin, WARHORSE vs. Dalton Castle, The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Workhorseman, The Acclaimed vs. Brian Cage and KC Navarro, Miranda Alize vs. Skye Blue, and Alex Zayne vs. Gringo Loco vs. Blake Christian vs. Myron Reed.

Fans can meet the wrestlers prior to the show as part of the Warrior Wrestling Fan Fest. More information can be found below.
