One of the bigger dates in Stardom’s annual calendar is the Year-End Climax event at Korakuen Hall. In recent years this event has been scaled down in favor of Stardom’s big venue PPVs but this year’s edition of the event has two interesting match-ups. Let’s take a look at what is happening at Stardom Year-End Climax 2021.

- The Submission Arts: Syuri & Konami vs Maika & Unagi Sayaka
- Black Peach First Visit: Queen’s Quest (Utami Hayashishita, Saya Kamitani & AZM) vs Oedo Tai (Momo Watanabe, Starlight Kid & Saki Kashima)
Konami Send-off
Syuri and Konami’s careers have been intertwined from the beginning. They have faced off in the ring across various promotions for years. Syuri even teamed with Konami’s trainer Kana (WWE’s Asuka) on a number of occasions to take on Konami. As the story goes, when Asuka was signed by WWE and left her trainee to fend for herself it was Syuri who aided Konami until Konami joined Stardom. Years after Konami joined Stardom, Syuri followed her in the door as a member of Donna Del Mondo and immediately found herself in conflict with Konami’s faction Tokyo Cyber Squad. Syuri and Konami have been on opposite sides of the ring ever since, climaxing in their UWF rules war at Tokyo Super Wars.
With the recent announcement that Konami will be taking a hiatus from pro wrestling it is only fitting that they finally team up before Konami steps away. Their opponents, Maika and Sayaka, requested the match at a recent show as both wanted to wrestle Konami before her hiatus and Konami would only accept if it was a tag match.
It will be interesting to see how this match goes, the combined powers of Syuri and Konami should be too much for their opponents but one can never be sure.

At Osaka Super Wars Momo Watanabe did the unthinkable when she turned on her long-time teammates in Queen’s Quest. Now referred to as the “Black Peach” of Oedo Tai we will get our first glimpse into what the new-look Watanabe will be as she takes on her former stablemates in trios action.
This should only end with Watanabe dropping one of QQ’s members for the pinfall win to establish her new persona but this is Oedo Tai so nothing is ever certain.
