ROH Final Battle 2021 Predictions
Tag Team Legacy
The OGK shocked Dragon Lee and Kenny King when they captured the ROH Tag Titles at Honor for All. A very emotional Matt Taven and Mike Bennett expressed their gratitude and passion for ROH after their victory. They will defend their titles for the first time against the most decorated tag team in the history of ROH. The Briscoes have won the ROH Tag titles 11 times. They have held the titles for a total of 1,263 days. They have become synonymous with Ring of Honor and the tag division specifically. The Briscoes would love nothing more than to end this era of ROH as the tag champions.
These four men have been crucial to Ring of Honor for years. The Kingdom in its various iterations was an instrumental tag team in Ring of Honor. All four men have left their mark, and have a great passion for Ring of Honor. Only one team will walk out of Final Battle 2021 as ROH Tag Champions.
Prediction – The Briscoes win
ROH Women’s Title Match
Rok-C won the Women’s World Championship Tournament this summer. This culminated in her final round matchup against Miranda Alize at Death Before Dishonor in which Rok-C was victorious and became the inaugural ROH Women’s World Championship. She did not have to wait long for a challenger to step up. A few weeks ago on Ring of Honor television, Rok-C was surrounded by six other wrestlers.
Before an all-out brawl could take place, ROH Board of Directors Member Maria Kanellis-Bennett made her way to the entrance ramp. She set up two different three-way matches. The winner of those two matches squared off on Ring of Honor Television. The winner of that match earned a shot at Rok-C and the ROH Women’s World Title. Willow defeated Mandy Leon in the final on ROH TV to earn this match. She also defeated Angelina Love and Miranda Alize in the three-way match to make it to the finals. Who will end this generation of ROH as the Women’s Champion? Find out at Final Battle 2021.
Prediction – Rok-C retains
Gresham and Lethal: The Final Battle
The original main event of Final Battle 2021 was to be Bandido versus Jonathan Gresham for the ROH World Title. Due to Bandido testing positive for COVID-19, the ROH champion has been pulled from the card. The title situation will be addressed on Hour One of Final Battle 2021. Jonathan Gresham will still compete in the main event of the show. His opponent will be Jay Lethal who has been dubbed “The Franchise” of Ring of Honor.
Jay Lethal recently made his debut in All Elite Wrestling. He will return to the ROH for one more night on arguably the biggest night in the history of ROH. Lethal has won almost every title in ROH. He is a former Pure, Tag, Television, and ROH World Champion. He was also the winner of the 2012 Survival of the Fittest tournament. These two squared off in the main event of ROH TV #500 with the Pure Title on the line. Gresham came out victorious then. Lethal would love nothing more than to win this match and even the score. Prepare for a technical wrestling clinic when two anchors of the Pure Division step into the ring at Final Battle 2021.
Prediction – Jonathan Gresham wins
