Terminus: Jonathan Gresham & Baron Black’s New Wrestling Promotion

Terminus Jonathan Gresham

A new wrestling promotion, led by Jonathan Gresham and Baron Black, is coming to Atlanta, Georgia. As revealed in the video linked below, Terminus is coming to Atlanta starting January 16th, 2022. The tagline for the brand is “All Roads Lead Here”, as well as sporting a “Modern Age Grappling” title to support the Terminus name. The video package features glimpses of some of the top wrestlers in the world today – including current ROH names. The video teases a date of 1.16.22 – presumably the date that the new promotion will kick-off.

The promotion will be a collaboration between one of the faces of Ring Of Honor in Jonathan Gresham and AEW regular Baron Black. Gresham is a multiple time champion with Ring Of Honor, recently coming off 317 day reign as ROH Pure Champion. With the recent news of the Ring Of Honor hiatus, this seems to be the project that Gresham is tackling next. Meanwhile, Baron Black is a big independent star who trained at Atlanta’s WWA4 school with AR Fox and the Nightmare Factory/1 Fall Power Factory with QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes. Black has made appearances in New South Pro Wrestling, IWA Mid-South, and Championship Wrestling From Atlanta, as well as being a regular in All Elite Wrestling.

Although much wasn’t revealed about the new promotion, Baron Black has told me that ticket, talent, and streaming announcements will all be coming next week.

Terminus joins a long list of fantastic independent wrestling promotions in the Atlanta area, not limited to but including – ACTION Wrestling, Southern Honor Wrestling, Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment, Southern Fried Championship Wrestling, Viral Pro Wrestling, Peachstate Wrestling Alliance, Championship Wrestling From Atlanta, Pro Wrestling Georgia, Laraito Pro Wrestling, Anarchy Wrestling, Mucha Lucha Atlanta, Southern Violence Wrestling, etc.

We’ll have more on Terminus as more announcements are made in the coming weeks and months.
