Trey Miguel Captures IMPACT X-Division Championship
Former champion Josh Alexander invoked Option C to challenge Christian Cage for the IMPACT World Title. Alexander vacated the X-Division Title in doing so, to challenge for the World Title. This left the X-Division without a champion. Three triple threat matches were made over the last few weeks. Steve Maclin, Trey Miguel, and El Phantasmo won the respective matches to make it to Bound for Glory. Trey defeated Laredo Kid, and Alex Zayne to make it to the title match tonight.
Trey is now at the top of IMPACT’s X-Division. This is his first title in IMPACT wrestling. Miguel was part of The Rascalz trio from 2018-2020 in IMPACT Wrestling. He has been an integral part of the X-Division and tasted IMPACT gold for the first time tonight. He will now turn his focus to the rest of the X-Division and focus on keeping the belt around his waist for a while to come.
