Josh Alexander Invokes Option C

Josh Alexander retained his X-Division Championship at Victory Road against Chris Sabin. IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage also retained his title against Ace Austin in the main event. Cage did not have long to celebrate, as Alexander’s music hit and he made his way to the ring. The two starred each other down as Alexander eyed the IMPACT World title. He then looked at his own X-Division title before exclaiming “Option C.” Now, this week on IMPACT as the fallout from Victory Road plays out, Alexander will open the show. He will formally relinquish the X-Division Championship to become the number one contender for the IMPACT World Championship. He will get his shot at Cage at Bound for Glory live on October 23rd.

Hikuleo vs. Finlay

The fallout from Victory Road continues as Hikuleo takes on David Finlay. Finlay defeated Chris Bey on the September 9th edition of IMPACT after a distraction from Juice Robinson. The celebration was short-lived, as Hikuleo made his IMPACT debut and assisted Chris Bey in beating down FinJuice. They went after the already injured knee of Juice, setting up for a tag match at Victory Road. Bullet Club was victorious in the match as they continued their rivalry with fellow New Japan Pro-Wrestling roster members FinJuice. Now Finlay has the chance to get revenge for himself and his tag team partner this week on IMPACT.
