WWE NXT Results (8/31/21)

WWE NXT results Johnny Gargano vs. LA Knight

The clock continues to countdown towards the revamp of NXT, making these weeks feel as though they are a waiting period more than anything else. No fear, however, as this week’s NXT delivered some incredible in-ring action with eight matches on the ledger, including a fantastic main event between a former NXT Champion and rising stud in the ranks of the black and gold brand. What was most interesting about this episode was that we have yet to see a true contender solidified for either Samoa Joe or Raquel Gonzalez as they both have multiple names coming for their straps. As much as people fear the NXT everyone has learned to love is going away, these past couple of weeks have shown that it’s not completely going away. As the likes of Ridge Holland and Sarray show the glaring light that NXT still has in their up-and-coming talent, you can feel there’s still going to be something special with this brand — no matter the color of the logo. Here are the WWE NXT results for Tuesday night.
