“The Drama King” Matthew Rehwoldt and Deonna Purrazzo have been crowned IMPACT Wrestling Homecoming King and Queen. The duo won the mixed tag tournament on the IMPACT Plus event Homecoming.

Deonna Purrazzo decided to enter the tournament on the latest episode of IMPACT. She refused to announce her partner until the tournament itself. As she was about to take on the team of Alisha Edwards and Hernandez, “The Drama King” Matthew Rehwoldt made his IMPACT debut, becoming Purrazzo’s partner for the tournament. A vignette teasing his arrival first aired at Slammiversary and they have aired on IMPACT since.
Matthew Rehwoldt and Deonna Purrazzo defeated Alisha Edwards and Hernandez in the Homecoming first round. They defeated the team of Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona in the semi-finals before besting Crazzy Steve and Rosemary of Decay in the finals. With this victory, they are the first Homecoming King and Queen in IMPACT Wrestling.
Purrazzo is the current IMPACT Knockouts Champion in her second reign. Rehwoldt is now an official member of the IMPACT roster. We will find out where he will fit in the current IMPACT picture in the coming weeks on IMPACT on AXS TV.
