Tracy Williams Pulled From ROH Best in the World

Tracy Williams

Tracy Williams has been pulled from Ring of Honor’s Best in the World pay-per-view. Williams was involved in an accident while walking his dog last month where he was struck by a vehicle. As Best in the World went on the air, Ian Riccaboni announced that the Maryland State Athletic Commission would not allow Williams to compete tonight due to the accident. Williams has noted on Twitter that he will be okay and that he has been home recovering.

Williams was scheduled to defend his ROH World Tag Team Championship alongside Rhett Titus against Chris Dickinson and Homicide of VLNCE UNLTD. Jay Lethal, a fellow member of The Foundation will take his place in tonight’s title match. The tag match will be a fight without honor where anything goes. It is a result of the bad blood that has broken out between the factions since 19th Anniversary.

Lethal will now compete in two matches tonight as he will also take on VLNCE UNLTD leader Brody King. The Foundation will surely miss having Williams in action tonight for Best in the World as the stakes are high. We wish Williams all the best in his recovery and look forward to seeing him back in action in a Ring of Honor ring.
